Can a couple buy a house with equal (but low) income and one bad credit score?
My husband and I each make about ,000 a year and want to buy a house. He has very good credit and I have poor credit (582). Are we going to be able to get a loan in this economy? What about FHA loans?

Since your credit score is so low, you won’t qualify – so they won’t consider your inome either, only his. So you could only get a loan that he could qualify for on his own.
