Can I buy a house that is pending.?
ok my dad been searching a home for a year and we finally found one. my dad put an offer but turns out someone put more. so now when i search the home it says home pending, i guess that means he signed the contract. does that mean he bought the house and we haveno chamce of buying that house anymore? thank you

No it does NOT mean that. If you had no chance, the sale would be finalized. ANYTHING can still happen. Offers fall out of escrow all the time and buyers sometimes cannot obtain the financing that they think they could have got when they placed the offer. The chances are not great, but there IS a chance.
